• Access to Websites (<all_urls>): This permission allows FontStash to read the CSS properties of the fonts on the websites you visit. This is strictly used to identify font families, sizes, weights, and other typography-related data for your inspection.
• Storage: We use the chrome.storage.local API to save the fonts and folders you explicitly choose to "Stash." This data stays on your local machine.
• Active Tab: This is used to inject the font scanner overlay only when you interact with the extension, ensuring minimal performance impact.

2. No Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All your saved fonts and organizational folders are stored locally on your own computer within Chrome's isolated storage. FontStash does not have any backend servers, and we never see your browsing history or saved collections.

3. Third-Party Services

FontStash does not share data with any third-party services. Since no data is collected, there is no data to sell or provide to advertisers.

4. Security

By storing all data locally, we mitigate the risk of data breaches. Your data is as secure as your personal computer and your browser's local storage environment.
